Professor David Cooper

David Cooper is the Dean of the Faculty of Performance, Visual Arts and Communication at the University of Leeds. His research interests include film music, Irish traditional music, Béla Bartók, composition and music technology.

 

Co-Investigator

Dr Ian Sapiro

Ian Sapiro is a Lecturer in Music and a Senior Research Fellow in the Faculty of Performance, Visual Arts and Communications at the University of Leeds. His research interests cover film music (particularly the processes of film-score creation and production), musical theatre, orchestration and the overlaps between them.

 

Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

Dr Laura Anderson

Laura Anderson gained a BA in Music and French at Trinity College Dublin.  She completed her MMus in Historical Musicology and her PhD at Royal Holloway University of London.  Her research interests include film music, sound design and French music.

Sarah Hall

Sarah is a PhD candidate in the School of Music.  She is a film musicologist currently working on the Trevor Jones archive that has been donated to the University of Leeds, and is especially interested in researching music for television.
