ScreenMusic Website Launched
February 24, 2017 Ian Sapiro
The project website, www.screenmusic.leeds.ac.uk, which provides access to the metadata for all of the digitised project materials has been launched. The website offers scholars and public unprecedented access to information about materials from the film- and television-score production process. Approved scholars and researchers may be granted access to the materials themselves for use in research and teaching only.
It is hoped that the ScreenMusic website will become a portal through which metadata relating to other audio-visual collections might also be accessed, and indeed has been designed to enable the collections of other composers to sit alongside the Jones materials and be accessed using the same search and retrieval functions. Managers of suitable collections should contact email@example.com to discuss possibility. Please note that metadata for all collections will need to adhere to the schema devised through the Trevor Jones Project, which can be requested by email as above.
